About Odd One Out — The Spot-the-Misfit Logic Game

That's the whole idea of Odd One Out: four things appear, one breaks the pattern, and you spot the impostor and work out why. There are 12 puzzles pulled from science, geography, maths and English, and each one explains the logic once you've answered. It's a solid thinking workout for grade 6 and 7, and good fun for adults who reckon they're sharp. The game's free and remembers your best score, so you can keep trying to beat it.
How you play
Press Start Investigating and a set of four appears. Decide which one doesn't share whatever the other three have in common, then tap it. A correct pick scores and extends your streak; a wrong one ends the streak but still teaches you, because the reason is spelled out straight after. Twelve puzzles span every subject.
