It suits science classes around Year 6 and 7, where kids are first sorting the animal kingdom, but the countdown makes it moreish for anyone. It's free and keeps your top score saved locally, so you can jump straight in. The catch is the awkward cases: a dolphin's a mammal, a penguin's a bird that swims, and a bat isn't a bird at all.
The rules, quickly
Tap Start Sorting and the clock begins its minute-long countdown. Each animal shows up and you choose its class — a correct tap earns points and grows your streak, a wrong one snaps it.
